| Policies |
This policy applies to the use of all electronic toys and communication devices in and on the grounds of L’école élémentaire Beachy Cove Elementary School. These devices include, but may not be limited to, the iPod, iPod Touch, iPad, MP3 players, Nintendo DS, digital cameras, and all types of cellular telephones.
Cellular telephones may be brought to school by students but must remain turned off in schoolbags or lockers at all times, except in the case of an emergency, in which case teachers may approve of their use;Electronic devices are not permitted in the cafeteria;

Our annual art exhibition, “Making a Good Impression”, is set for this coming Friday, May 4, 2012. Parents and family members are warmly invited to attend at any time between 9:00am and 3:00pm. Prints created through our ArtsSmarts program with Anita Singh and many other paintings, drawings, and three-dimensional art will be on display for your viewing pleasure. Please come out and feel this aspect of the cultural fabric of this great school.

We are still awaiting word on MMSB’s “Top your Total” recycling promotion. Even if we are not the winner of the grand prize ($10,000) we are still winners in our advocacy for the environment in that thousands and thousands of beverage containers have been redirected from our landfills. |
