Pumas Participate in Christmas Parade
The Beachy Cove Girls Pumas had a wonderful time this past weekend participating in the annual PCSP Santa Claus Parade.  As you can see by the smiling faces and rosey cheeks, the girls had a ball.  Many thanks to the volunteer coaches and parents who helped, making this years float a tremendous success!  (Please see our photo gallery on our main page for more pictures.)

The BCE Boys Pumas Basketball team are off and running!  We have a great group of parent volunteers and lots of enthusiasm for the program.  If you have a son in grade 3-6 who would like to play, please email Jeff at bceboysbasketball@gmail.com   GO PUMAS!!!

Pumas take Gold!

The Pumas basketball team ended their 2011-2012 season on a high note this past weekend winning GOLD at the Mary Queen of Peace grade five/six invitational basketball tournament.  The Pumas placed 1st in their division by winning both round robin games handily. The girls then won
their crossover game to advance to the gold medal game.  The gold medal game was a great display of defense and offense working together cohesivelyand the girls emerged as winners with a final score of 53-32.
This tournament team consisted of three girls from grade four, 10 girls from grade five and four from grade six.  They represented L'école élémentaire Beachy Cove Elementary in a very high standard with their display of competitiveness and sportsmanship.
Our entire school community is very proud of these young athletes.
