KinderStart News

January 27, 2021

Dear Parents/Families:

We are finally in a position to announce the details of our KinderStart program for this year.  It’s been a long time in coming and, as you might expect, this may be subject to change as we get closer to these dates if cases of Covid-19 increase in our province.  We’re keeping our fingers crossed that we continue on our current trajectory with respect to case counts.

We are pleased to welcome one parent/guardian per KinderStart child.  Upon arrival at the school, we would like you to use the hand sanitizer from the dispenser in our foyer and adults must wear masks at all times while inside of our school.  We will also record your name and contact information for contact tracing purposes.

We’re not too concerned with proof of address a this time.  Should we develop a procedure to get this information to us, we will advise accordingly; however, for now, everthing is good.

Our KinderStart-ers have been grouped along program lines (i.e., Early French Immersion and English) according to our registrations.  Please note that we can only accept the first twenty-seven registrants for French Immersion.  All others have been waitlisted for the progam and have for now been assigned to English.  This is a school district policy and out of our control at the school level.

Please click here to access the full schedule and grouping arrangements.

As always, we thank you for your patience as we finally arrived at the point where we can communicate our KinderStart program details.  Please let me know if you have questions.

We are excited to finally meet you all.

Best regards,

Aubrey
