| Be Cool for Autism We’re hoping to “Be Cool for Autism” tomorrow at Beachy Cove. All of our staff and learners are invited to wear their sunglasses tomorrow so show how cool we are. We also encourage everyone to bring along a dollar or two in support of the Autism Society. Please make your envelope or baggie with “Autism Society”. Easter Vacation Easter vacation begins at the close of the school day (2:40pm) on Thursday, April 18, 2019. We reopen on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 8:30am. Little Mermaid Our learners in Kindergarten and grade one are looking forward to “Little Mermaid” at Holy Heart Theatre on Wednesday. Please ensure that permission slips and the $10 fee for the ticket is sent along to the school by Wednesday morning. If we don’t have a signed permission form for your child, he/she cannot attend. Kids Eat Smart Breakfast Club Flea Market Our KES Breakfast Club is pleased to announce its first Flea Market. An 8′ table space rents for only $30. Turn your gently used clothing and household items into cash. This is set for Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 12:00pm-4:00pm. There is no admission charge. Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s Lions Club We are very pleased to accept a donation of $150 from our local Lions Club in support of our Positive Behaviour and Intervention Supports program (Pounce Paws, Behavioural Matrix, etc.). These funds will be used to enhance our monthly prize draws for those awarded “Pounce Paws”. PCSP Minor Soccer PCSP Minor Soccer’s House League registration will begin on April 1, 2019 through online (pcspminorsoccer.ca) or in-person procedures. Two in-house sessions have been organized for April 27, 2019 from 10:00am-12:00pm and on May 11, 2019 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Voisey’s Brook Park.
